Accessing the countryside will always be a balancing act between conservation and construction. We believe that building work of any kind has to concede that this is a living Environment and as such demands a much more sensitive approach. This doesn't mean that you have to compromise Health and Safety issues, it does mean however a different, not radical solution.

BARRACAID has a policy of natural dry fix solutions to land management problems. There are a few very good reasons for adopting this approach:-

1. As already mentioned we are building in a living environment, consequently all of our products are modular and fully adjustable. If tree roots begin to interfere with any of our products, adjustments can be made to rectify the problem.

2. The only materials used by BARRACAID are Galvanised and stainless steel, French oak and specially treated pine. All of the timber mentioned originate from EU approved sustainable sources. Well managed woodland. Every effort is made to use naturally occurring materials. Once, one of our products has reached the end of its lifespan it should not cause a disposal problem.
